Pelican Bay Volunteer Fire/Rescue has come along way in a short period of time. Chief Stetzel has brought in over $80,000.00 worth of grants, one of the biggest, allowed the city to purchase a new attack truck for less than $4,000.00.

He has also brought this new department in line with all state fire agencies and made it a legal charter. He continues to work on future grants and striving to bring new members in.

This is how you can get involved. Pelican Bay Fire/Rescue needs more Volunteers to assist with everything from administrative duties on up. This is your chance to give back to your community.

Training will be provided free of charge. All you have to give is your time.

Applications are available at the City Hall or you can download a PDF version that you can print, fill out and return to the City Hall. Please note that this file is over 2megs. I haven't had a chance to compress it into a smaller file.

Thank you for supporting Pelican Bay Fire/Rescue and helping to make our City one of the Safest in Tarrant County.
