Building permits are required to erect, enlarge, alter, remove, demolish, or repair a structure in the City of Pelican Bay. This includes everything from car ports and garages to room additions. Permits are required for move-in’s, lot to lot moves, storage buildings, garages, fences, lawn sprinkler systems, retaining walls, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway, carport/garage/storage building concrete slab, and swimming pools (both inground and above ground).

The City also requires all Electrical, Plumbing and Air Conditioning contractors performing work in the City be registered.
